An analysis of a crude oil, performed by an independent laboratory, Intertek http://www.intertek.com/, which was compared with the same crude oil that was added with WAS additive to reduce the asphaltenes content.
The dosage was 3% of WAS additive.
Comments
The WAS additive was applied in a proportion of 3% by the weight of the oil and was properly mixed until a homogeneous mixture was obtained.
The asphaltenes reduction was of 48% compared to the initial content.
The asphaltene reduction also triggered a 20% decrease of the kinematic viscosity compared to the initial content.
